This variable affects when screen scrolling occurs. When it is set to "1" (on, true, yes), scrolling and cursor positioning occur normally. When it is set to "0" (off, false, no), screen scrolling occurs only as the result of a SCROLL phrase in an ACCEPT or DISPLAY statement, and any DISPLAY statement that references a line past the bottom of the current window is ignored. ACCEPT statements that reference a line past the bottom of the current window are placed in the home position of the window. The default setting is "1".
