PROVIDE_PASSWORD_MESSAGES

When set to "true" ("on", "1"), this variable causes the values of the password messages (TEXT_015, TEXT_016, and TEXT_017) to be sent to the client upon initial connection (prior to prompting the user for a password, if a password is required). This allows password messages to be defined on the server, in the server configuration file, and then downloaded to the client when a connection is established. See the entry for TEXT below.
